According to the Internet (so it must be true!), November 4 is Use Your Common Sense Day. It's also National Candy Day, Love Your Lawyer Day, Fountain Pen Day, the middle day of Marzipan Week, and the 4th day of National Peanut Butter Lovers Month and National Pomegranate Month. Clearly a day worthy of celebrating or at least acknowledging. It would have been perfect....except that I foolishly I double-booked myself so we're going to have a delayed celebration, on November 18.
This Community Celebration Event will be a chance to use our common puzzle solving senses to solve some puzzles. Maybe even geocaching puzzles.
Bring your lunch, a puzzle or two that you're struggling to solve, a writing utensil and some paper. Dress for the weather. We will be at one of the Picnic Shelters at Shute Park.
I'll bring some dessert, which may or may not contain candy, marzipan, peanut butter and/or pomegranate. And who knows, I may even have something else to share.
This Event is part of a limited release of Community Celebration Events to celebrate 20 years of geocaching. Geocachers hosted events between May 2, 2020 and December 31, 2020. Learn more about Community Celebration Events on the Geocaching Blog.
