Come join us for the 20th annual New York Capital Region Geocachers picnic at Harry J. Betar Park in South Glens Falls New York at N 43 16.216 W 73 37.704 . This is in the town park not to be confused with the state park a few miles away.
Everyone who has an interest in geocaching is invited to come and join in the fun. Whether you have 1 or 1,000,000 finds, this event is for you! New to the game? Great, stop by and we'll show what its all about and why so many people are so excited about geocaching. New to the area? Fantastic, stop by and meet the local geocachers. Visiting from out of town? Awesome, please drop in and introduce yourself – we’d love to meet you!
Historically we do a pot luck style lunch. This year, based on covid we have decided to forgo the potluck lunch and ask everyone to bring their own picnic lunch. We will provide bottled water for those wishing it.

We will have door prize drawings at 3:30. You must be present to win. We will gladly accept items for door prizes.
This event is close to a Wherigo many of you have been struggling with, Escape From the Vandenburg That wherigo can be used to find 4 different geocaches one of which is right here in the park. For those needing it help will be available at the pavilion throughout the day.
