The St. Louis Area Geocachers Association would like to invite you to join us for a Community Celebration Event of the 20th year anniversary of Geocaching. The first geocache was hidden on May 2, 2000 near Portland, Oregon. There are now over 3 million geocaches around the world.
This event will be the substitute for the annual SLAGA Summer Picnic. We will gather at Cliff Cave Park around 10 am and stay until 3 pm. We will have a piñata for the kids with prizes inside. There will be games for everyone. We may even have games for the seniors like "Race Mrs. RGS to the Brownies".
There will also be an opportunity for some lucky people to visit the Cave and take a cave tour. Keep a lookout for information on the St. Louis County Parks website.
This will be a bring your own food event. SLAGA will supply water, plates, utensils, and charcoal for the grill.
Post your will attend and Let’s Party!
