Nasledujúci príbeh je z pera Jamesa Pattersona, konkrétne z knihy Denník. Nechcem tu písať recenziu na beletriu, či niekomu doporučiť, aby si ju prečítal. To je na uvážení každého zvlášť.
No práve táto myšlienka má hlboké posolstvo a preto som si ju dovolil zaradiť do série príbehov.
Predstav si, že život je hra, počas ktorej musíš žonglovať s piatimi loptičkami. Každá z loptičiek má meno: jedna predstavuje prácu, druhá rodinu, tretia zdravie, štvrtá priateľov a piata charakter. Všetky musíš udržať vo vzduchu. Ale jedného dňa prídeš na to, že loptička menom práca je z gumy. Ak ju pustíš, odrazí sa a znovu ti vyskočí do ruky. Ostatné loptičky - rodina, zdravie, priatelia a charakter - sú zo skla. Ak ti niektorá z nich spadne, nenapraviteľne sa poškriabe, pukne, ba možno rozbije na márne kúsky. A keď raz skutočne pochopíš, aké poučenie sa skrýva v príbehu o piatich loptičkách, môžeš na ňom budovať rovnováhu vo svojom živote.
Prístup ku keške je možný z niekoľkých smerov priamo po chodníčkoch. V závislosti od venčenia rodinných miláčikov, či iných príslušníkov 
. Napriek niekoľkým výšľapom samotný terén nie je náročný.

Just this idea has a deep message and that's why I dared to include it to a series of stories.
Imagine life as a game where you have to juggle with five balls. Each of the balls has a name: one represents work, the other family, the third health, the fourth friends and the fifth character. You have to keep them all in the air. But one day you will find that a ball named work is made of rubber. If you release it, it bounces and jumps up in your hand again. The other balls - family, health, friends and character - are made of glass. If any of them fall, they will irreparably scratch, burst, or even break into vain.
