The 2020 installment of caches along the wonderful and amazing “Anglers’ Trail”.
As I’m sure you’re now all very aware, this is a 8km one way trail if you hike it end to end. Sections of the trail can be flooded after heavy rains, there are slick muddy sections on most hills, and expect wildlife in the summer and fall.
Access to the Northern Trailhead has deteriorated over the past few years and the last 500m is now 4x4 only.
We decided to start filing in the trail from the far end, feel free to add a few closer to the falls.
This cache is hidden only a few feet from the trail, in the nook of a stump that has an uprooted tree lying on top of it. The cache is hidden under a cut disk of tree. Some flagging tape placed nearby on a branch.
