Queda do Vigário [Alte] Traditional Geocache

A Cascata de Alte (mais conhecida por Queda do Vigário) é a parte terminal de uma sequência de cascatas formadas em tufos calcários existentes na ribeira de Alte, no concelho de Loulé, no Algarve, Portugal. 

Trata-se de um local muito aprazível, com uma queda de água de cerca 15 metros que nos meses mais chuvosos proporciona um cenário verdadeiramente idílico.

É bastante frequentada nos meses mais quentes, por turistas que aproveitam a sua lagoa de águas cálidas e translúcidas para nadar.

Neste local existiu originalmente a cache GCZ85M.

The Alte Waterfall (better known as the Vigário Falls) is the terminal part of a sequence of waterfalls formed in limestone tufts in the Alte stream, Alte village, in the municipality of Loulé, Algarve, Portugal.

It is a very pleasant place, with a very beautiful waterfall about 15 meters heigth and a blue water lagoon which in the rainiest months provides a truly idyllic scenary.

It is quite frequented by tourists in the warmer summer months, to take a swim on its warm and translucent water blue lagoon.

In this place originally existed the GCZ85M cache.

Para aceder à cache deverão estacionar no parque recomendado e seguir as indicações das placas, descendo o estradão até ao relvado que está junto à cascata. A cache está escondida entre as pedras, um metro abaixo da base da oliveira. Recomendo que desçam ao nível da ribeira e que escalem uma rocha maior que vos deixará no patamar da cache. 

To access the cache, park the car in the recommended parking spot and follow the signposts, going down the dirt road that leads you to the grass garden near the waterfall. The cache is hidden between the rocks, one meter below the base of the olive tree. I recommend you to go down to the stream level and climb a larger rock that leaves you in the cache level.
