Geocache Description:

This Geocache is inspired by “mo pirate” who donated a cache for MOGA 2019 that we found at Mark Twain Lake.

The Missouri territory was part of the 1803 Louisiana Purchase. Missouri became the 24th state on August 10th, 1821. Pike County was established in 1818, it included today’s boundaries plus all the counties north of it, plus the counties bordering all of them on the west, in total over 6 or 7 times larger than its current size. When the county was organized Bowling Green became the county seat. Its namesake was a city in middle Kentucky, the city is named for explorer Zebulon Pike.

The combination of two of the three years mentioned above will open the lock. That only makes three possible four digit combinations. The other clue can be seen through the peep hole on the box, it is hard to see without a flashlight or the camera on your phone.
