A Letterbox at Pin-E-medo
This is a Letterbox Cache that is at the Posted Coordinates.
It contains a self-inking stamp, that is not a trade item.
Out for a walk with Milli (the BugFinding Pooch) this morning. With the storm on its way, I had hoped to get a bit of a walk in before the torrential downpour hits. The goal was to check on the "Secret Tree" traditional cache, that was placed 7 years ago, by the then 7 year old Littlest BugFinder. As the container was buried by settling soil, it was time to let it go and place a couple of new caches in this park.
This was the first one. With the flodding in Burlington 3 years ago, the creeks have all been cleaned, debris removed, and banks rehabilitated. In this case, the area was made a bit more accessible. We ventured down to the creekside, and left this letterbox cache on our way back. You are looking for a water tight bottle, with a twist top lid. This container was once used for water sampling, so it has to be water tight.
The cache itself is hanging below should height on a grapevine beside the tree.
As for the name of this Letterbox, it comes from my car GPS System. I guess not all GPS systems can read: "Turn Left at Pin-E-meado'
Good Luck and Happy Letter Boxing!
