Aorere Shelter is on the Heaphy Track. It's a 4 hr walk from the start of the track at the Brown Hut and campsite and a 1 hr walk to Perry Saddle Hut and campsite.
Half way through our first day on the heaphy track and We Were ready for a break but didn’t know how far the shelter was, now you do
Thought this section of the track could do with another cache to help break up the climb
Cache is placed under the Washing shelter hopefully away from Weka
