Much Hoole Ramble #3.5 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

DP13: I cannot work out why the previous finder left the container exactly as they found it instead of tipping the water out and putting the lid on, or why they didn't bother to sign the log book, which was nice and dry in a separate small tupperware container. I think this is the first time this cache has been tampered with in about 15 years, but now that people know it's there, it would probably happen again, so I collected it in with the rest of them.

Geocache Description:

A previous cache was here which I would have adopted if given the chance; mainly to prevent those who have done the rest of this series before from having to walk around it again.  Unfortunately it was archived and so it leaves a gap in my series where I intended to place one before I knew the previous one was there.  I could have left the gap, but it seemed a shame to not have a cache here.

I have used the previous container as it's all okay inside, electronically grabbed the TB that would have been lost in there and dropped it in this, to keep it active.

Please be aware that there is barbed wire very close to the cache, as well as brambles.

There are a couple of ways to get to it when you are a few metres away - plough through the undergrowth directly, or, walk past the stile and then left down the slope, to avoid the prickles, which may be the preferred option.

It can get muddy so boots or wellies would be advisable.
