About Eros Mountains: 

The Eros Mountains lie just like the Auas on the average 2,000 m over the sea level. The highest summit of the Eros Mountains is the Ludwigkop with 2.133m height. 

About The Cache: 

If you are into hiking, cycling or motorbiking then this cache is for you, the cache is placed at Windhoek's most beautiful viewpoint. There is nothing special about the container and the hide, it's all about the mountain and the adventure of concurring the climb. Find the white concrete poll with the windwheel it's very obvious and also the highest point of the mountain. Now face SE and walk about 3 meters towards the cliff. Here you'll find the cache! 

Important:

 Here are some important things to consider when tacking this adventure on.   

  • Don't do this trail at night! 
  • There is a big jeep track/road behind the eros mountains that leads you past the mountain. (Neighborhood watch has closed off many entrances to this road, but it is still accessible from certain areas like Avis Daam or the Eros neighborhood. 
  • Make sure you have plenty of water along. 
  • Not ideal to hike between (11:00 am - 2:00 pm) It's just too hot! 
  • Always be aware of your surroundings, don't bring valuables.
