Geocache Description:

05 August 2020, 10:00 - 13:00

The Sussex Mega Team are delighted
to welcome you to the

Seven Sisters Country Park CITO

Date: Wednesday 5th August 2020
Time: 10:00 - 13:00
Meeting Point: By the South Downs National Park Agency rangers vehicles

Seven Sisters Country Park

The Seven Sisters Country Park is well known by Sussex cachers as we have been holding an annual CITO here for the last 13 years! Additionally the view of the Seven Sisters is what we have used for our logo. If you do wish to see the view the waypoint has been added to the cache page, please note that it is best if you drive to South Hill Barn Car Park and then walk to the view point.

This CITO has been organised in conjuction with the South Downs National Park Agency. The terrain rating is based on the fact that most of the work is done along the river bank and on the beach, however, there are well-defined paths that are stroller friendly and there is usually some work to be done along these too, so please don't be put off if you need to stick to the paths - We can't put a range and we think most people prefer to get the credit for the hardest it is!

South Downs GeoTour

This event includes a special bonus code for the The South Downs GeoTour. One of the South Downs National Park rangers will be joining the event to support the clean-up efforts, talk about the hidden gems of the area, and also explain about the GeoTour. You’ll be able to pick up your GeoTour Passport and get started straight away with a bonus stamp to say thank you for all of your efforts in conserving the area.
