Geocache Description:

How could a record of 4000 FTFs and 13,000 total finds not have a memorial placed? Although not a bronze statue, the holy standard of a geocaching hide, an ammo can in the woods has been placed to commemorate TexasWriter's caching achievements.

Some of his statistics are almost mind-boggling: 1000 FTFs after only 18 months following his first cache find in 2012. His second 1000 FTFs soon followed in early 2014, his 3000th FTF in mid-2016, and recently this month, his 4000th FTF. Those FTFs have included 6 different cache types (Traditional, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox, Earthcache, and Wherigo) and he has completed a Fizzy Challenge based solely of FTFs. Even while pursuing all those hidden caches, TexasWriter still had time to place almost 700 caches for others to find while maintaining his status (as of this date) as Texas' number 1 FTF'er.

Dedicated parking is listed as a waypoint

Note: The park is only available from dawn to dusk. Please honor those restrictions as the park is patrolled and, at closing time, the accesses are locked
