Now was the time for us to take a short drive

So we could plant the cache for cold spell day 5.

Excitement abounding we searched high then low

To find a hiding spot for this cache to go.

Should it be here, should it be there, in the tree?

That was the thing on which we had to agree.

When sunset approached the decision was made

As the temperature fell a centigrade.

Back to our homes we did happily retreat

So we could warm up our numb fingers and feet.

The challenge is now left to you, come and play

In the deep snow during the brisk winter day.
