Geocache Description:

This is another Women In History Challenge cache.  As the series so far is primarily in Vermont and New Hampshire, this is appropriately for a heroine with both VT and NH connections, Molly Stark.  It is placed in Wilmington, along the Molly Stark By way, down the road from Molly Stark State Park, and in a town with a statue to her, which you will visit. However, there is no evidence she ever stepped foot in Wilmington VT. Nevertheless, it is supposed to be along the trail her husband took to return to her, triumphant after the Battle of Bennington.

Do not go to the listed coordinates.  The cache is not there,  Instead, you must correctly answer the questions which follow.  You will need to visit Molly's statue to get some of the answers. The rest of the answers can be found in (or derived from) the Wikipedia article for Molly Stark which you can find here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molly_Stark

If you like Revolutionary war history and want to learn more about Molly Stark, and her husband, John Stark, while in the area you may want to visit the Molly Stark caches located along the Molly Stark Byway to the west of town, not to mention the caches near the Bennington Battle Monument (look for John's statue there), and the Bennington Museum.  You can also look for another Vermont Revolutionary War heroine in this series, by the name of Ann Story.

Thanks to MAMD for originating this series in NH. Caches that educate as well as entertain.
