My wife and I both enjoy solving crossword puzzles. A daily ritual, first thing in the morning, is to print out the day's New York Times crossword. I find that I can almost always solve the Monday and Tuesday puzzles, although I typically complete only the top portion, leaving the rest for my spouse. The Wednesday and Thursday puzzles are more challenging, but the two of us can usually complete them. The Friday and Saturday puzzles are very difficult -- these require significantly more effort, and we succeed only part of the time.
It is high time that Mt. Diablo State Park had its own crossword puzzle cache, so here it is. The coordinates (MM.MMM for latitude and MM.MMM for longitude) are sprinkled among the puzzle's VERTICAL words, spelled out, and listed in order vertically, then left-to-right (which is not necessarily the clue number order).
A complete solution is not required to post a find, but I will separately recognize anyone who sends me, via email, a photo of a correct, complete solution to the puzzle.
