Geocache Description:


The coordinates will take you to an interpretive sign along the Park Hudson Trail.  Here you will solve a field puzzle to discover the coordinates to the Final, which is a thick silver bison tube.  Coordinates to the final are N 30.39.AB8, W 096 18.C2D.  Fill in ABCD.

The sign shows 3 rows of plants and birds found in the park.

The first row shows photos of 3 flowering plants.  What is the name of the middle plant in the row?  If Eastern Redbud, A = 3.  If Dayflower, A = 4.  If Trumpet Creeper, A = 6.

The second row shows 4 plants that produce berries.  What is the name of the second plant in the row?  If American Beautyberry, B = 7.  If Coralberry, B = 5.  If Eastern Redcedar, B = 8.  If Yaupon, B = 2.

The third row shows 3 colorful birds.  What color is the last bird in the row?  If blue, C = 4.  If yellow, C = 0.  If red, C = 2.

Who is the conservationist quoted at the lower right corner of the sign?  If Ansel Adams, D = 8.  If Aldo Leopold, D = 9.  If Peter Scott, D = 3.
