Geocache Description:

14 February 2020, 19:00 - 20:00

This event will be held at

MacDonalds Restuarant at the Homemaker Centre in Devonport

Friday 14 February 2020

7.00pm to 8.00pm

We have been approached by some less experienced cachers to help them get started with puzzle solving. In response we are meeting with them on a regular basis to take them through a structured puzzle solving program. The program makes no assumptions and takes the participants through some experiences designed to develop skills and confidence. The program does not aim to tackle every different type of puzzle but does aim to develop sufficient skills so that a new cacher will have a range of tools to explore a new puzzle and the confidence to try those tools.

So far we have only used the "grapevine" to make cachers aware that the sessions are being held. We would like to extend the invitation to any others who have minimal skills in tacking geocaching mystery caches. We are using this event to make others aware of the opportunities being offered.

So if you are interested in puzzle solving, you are most welcome to come along and see what we are doing.

If you can come but only for a short time, please drop in (if only for a few minutes) and  say "hello".

If you are interested but you cannot make it on the night, contact us and we will see what alternative arrangements can be made to get you started.

Of course, this event is not limted to those wanting to learn how to solve puzzles. All geocachers are most welcome, irrespective of experience. In that way we can develop supportive networks that benefit all of us.
