Geocache Description:

Look Out From The Castle.

This is cache 3 of a series of 4 caches that will take you up a boulder strewn valley to where water supplies what we have called the Grey Nile Trail (GNT) similar to a Leet in the UK (which used flowing water to power mills) which is an artificial water course gradually following the mountainside contours to take water down to where it is needed for drinking or irrigation. The cache location was chosen because of the unusual square blooks that make up the rock structure at GZ almost like they had been cut to shape to build it.

There is a track just up the road (not the road leading up the mountain) towards the bridge from the Parking coords used by the Bee Keepers to get to the hives. Following this track is easy walking which takes you most of the way to the castle cache but from then on the terrain gets much more difficult and requires crossing the river which is shallow and easy to get across without getting wet feet if you choose the right place. Just be wary of the bees if the hives are active.

This cache is part of the Pirates trail which links our other caches together all the way from the Ancient city of Kaunos near Dalyan to the Amazing Castle series and Waterfall caches at the North end of Lake Koycegiz and on up the mountains to The Summer Lake. GC3A7FR. GC1RRKT.

The spoiler pictures on the Pirate Trail caches should make life a lot easier when searching for caches, not sure how to with other smart phones but if you have an Iphone, get the spoiler picture on the screen and press the off button with the button on the front of the phone at the same time and it will take a picture of what is on the screen and save it to your photo gallery so you can access the spoilers at GZs without the roaming charges.
