Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache was placed with permission from the Parks Department. If you do not sign the log, you cannot log the cache. So please make sure I can read it. The facility hours are listed below so look before you go. At stage one, you will need to read what’s there and take note of the numbers that are on it. They are the same on both sides, so you only need to read one side. Once you have taken note of what you need here, proceed to the next location listed on the cache page. Once you’re at the second location, change over to your compass. Take a reading of 150*. You will go 36 feet at a bearing of 150* Not 36 steps, or paces but feet. Here you will need to solve the puzzle. A TOTT (tool of the trade) will be needed. Once you have successfully solved this you will now have the key to enter the first stage of the cache box. Once inside the cache box you will need those numbers from stage one to open the swag box to sign the log, make trades and drop TBs. This cache will be open to the public to solve but they will not have the code to the swag box. Please make sure you lock the swag box back up and spin the numbers. The parks department will be using this cache to promote geocaching in the area so they will have their own swag in the main box. Feel free to take one of theirs too but make sure you trade there too. If you do not have the TOTT in your bag, you will need to come back when you have one. Facility Hours Monday – Friday: 5:00AM – 9:00PM Saturday: 7:00AM – 6:00PM Sunday: 12:00PM – 6:00PM As always, be respectful and mind the hours. Please don’t show up 10 min before closing and expect them to close late. Enjoy the cache, and check out the others caches in the area. If you pick up a trail map, you will be able to find all the other caches that have been placed in the area parks and forest preserves nearby. Make sure you take your water and maybe a trash bag too. So, if you read all of this, all the locations are in the hint. Please do not remove the stamp from the cache. Bring your own ink pad. ATTENTION!! YOU DO NOT PUT ANYTHING DOWN THE CONTAINER TO GET THE NEEDED ITEM. ONLY THE CONTAINER IS TO GO DOWN THE CONTAINER. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE PROPER TOTT TO GET IT OUT. PLEASE DO NOT STICK ANYTHING DOWN IT.
