Come one, come all to celebrate the end of "Selective Availability" on GPS satellites.
That decision changed all our lives.
Low key event. We will meet in the Village Green of Vickery Village on the West Side of Cumming.
Please bring one of the following items with you that will help us all
remember and celebrate why we love this 20 year-old game.
1. The strangest thing (or a story about it) you ever found in a Geocache.
Keep it clean. There are children in the audience.
The CO will bring a Nuclear Bomb Effects Caluclator. Top That!
2. A story about your most memorable find.
Was it a long hike, a tough puzzle, or a Sherrif's deputy who put you in handcuffs?
There will a poker run (actually a walk) for a special prize.
There will be a brand new 2-step multi cache that starts in the Vickery "Fairy Forest."
Your kids will love this one.
The Vickery Green is surrounded by an Ice Cream Parlor, a Brew Pub, a Sandwich Shop, an Italian Restaurant, a Mexican Restaurant, and an American Restaurant.
