After two full years of laying low due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and wearing masks to keep all of us safe, we are finally able to host a public geomeet again and finish celebrating 20 plus years of geocaching. Join us for a meet and greet in the backroom of the Allegheny Outfitters Store along the banks of the Allegheny River, the winner of the 2017 PA River of the Year Contest. We will have a log to sign, a travel bug exchange, a limited amount of door prizes to award in random drawings at 12:00 PM . We will also offer an introduction to geocaching seminar for beginners at 12:30 PM in the Allegheny Outfitters meeting room, so if you know someone who is just getting started, please encourage them to join the fun.
As we have not had the opportunity to have a normal gathering of the Kinzua Cachers group in quite a while, we would also like to rekindle the tradition we have had in the past of honoring fellow geocachers who may have reached or exceeded milestone cache finds of 1000 or more. Feel free to honor one of your fellow cacher friends with some type of tribute for their latest milestone cache. You can message us directly if you would like to keep it a surprise or feel free to post a note on the event page if you prefer.
There is food and drink available next door to the event and sufficient parking is available directly across the street from the location. Please join in the fun and help us celebrate 20 plus years of geocaching!
