Geocache Description:

25 April 2021, 13:00 - 15:00

25th April 2021, ANZAC DAY 1 - 3pm Tongala

I have been fortunate enough to be granted a Community Celebration Event cache to celebrate 20 years of Geocaching (closer to 21 years after the last year).

This is our Central Victorian Annual Get Together Geocaching Event, this year celebrating the mural town of Tongala

Come to the Village Green, beside the Sound Shell - (or inside the Sound Shell if it is raining), for a quick catch up to celebrate everything geocaching.

Bring some lunch with you, or something to cook on the BBQs which are available.

Very few of the shops will be open due to it being a public holiday.

- Bring a chair, your geocaching tales to tell, and take the time to browse around all the amazing murals in this town, as well as the Tongala War Memorial, beside the Sound Shell, behind which the conveniences are located.

Community Celebration Events - 2020

This Event is part of a limited release of Community Celebration Events to celebrate 20 years of geocaching. Geocachers hosted events between May 2, 2020 and December 31, 2021. Learn more about Community Celebration Events on the Geocaching Blog.

This event will be held outdoors adhering to Victorian Government COVID guidelines.  I will make sure that the log sheet is signed by all attendees and will record names and phone numbers.  Whilst at time of publication masks are not necessary for outdoor gatherings if personal distancing is observed, it is wise to carry one at all times.
