Geocache Description:

In memory of Adam Kabel

This cache has been placed in memory of Adam Kabel from Chicago, Illinois who used to stay at Wick Hall and spent many happy days in Brighton and Hove. He was my oldest friend but sadly he passed away at the tragically young age of 46 in 2019. He will not be forgotten. The background picture has no relevance to the cache, but is of Chicago, where Adam was from.

A short history of Wick Hall, Hove

Wick Hall was built in 1936 in the Moderne style on 7 floors, built on the site of the earlier Wick House, which had stood on the site from 1840 until the early 1930s. Wick Hall is also the site of a couple of World War 2 Luftwaffe bombs.

You are looking for a small cache that has room for a swappable or two. There is also a little prize for the first to find. Be mindful of passing muggles, either from Wick Hall itself or shoppers cutting through from Western Road.
