Tree Army, a Multicache Multi-Cache

This cache is placed at Highlands Hammock State Park

The park is open from 8 am until sunset, 365 days a year.

A state park entrance fee is required.

By the time the CCC program ended at the start of World War II, Roosevelt’s “Tree Army” had planted more than 3.5 billion trees on land made barren from fires, natural erosion, intensive agriculture or lumbering. In fact, the CCC was responsible for over half the reforestation, public and private, done in the nation’s history.

At the posted coordinates use the info on the sign  - look at the further north of 2 signs in this area - the sign you need has bike info - to determine the final coordinates using to the formula below:

B = number of letters in the 1st and 2nd word added together
