Eight of us who have fled the winter blues of Ottawa, Canada invite you to join us for our second quadrennial “Leap Year” event cache, this year at Tom Renick Park on the beach in Ormond-by-the-Sea on Saturday February 29. Drop in anytime from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Come earn a Leap Year Caching souvenir and a “found it” log, and meet a few local and imported cachers. There are numerous picnic benches, several covered, plus washrooms and a playground. Perhaps stroll the beach for some nearby caches. There’ll be the usual logbook to sign, and there’ll also be door prizes drawn at 3:00 pm.
In 2016, 36 cachers attended the event in Flagler Beach. We hope for even more this year. We look forward to meeting you there and then.
