Many of the fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm are well known today. Several have been adapted into Disney movies, while others are classic children's stories. However, they've evolved over the years, and often, the modern versions are a far cry from the originals.
The tale we know as "Little Red Riding Hood" is a misnomer; the story is called Little Red Cap, because our heroine wore a red velvet cap all of the time, so everyone called her Little Red Cap. While the bulk of the story goes as we all remember, in the original, the wolf eats both the grandmother and Little Red Cap! Why don't I remember that part?
