Another Movie Mystery Cache... This one is for one of my favorite movies of all time, The Shawshank Redemption... The movie was released in 1994 and was nominated for 7 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It is a story of friendship, hardship, betrayal, and redemption. The story revolves around a group of inmates who are friends, especially 2 men, Andy Dufresne and Ellis "Red" Boyd, who become best friends and that friendship lasts for over 20 years. With an extrordinary cast led by Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, the movie was filmed primarily in a shuttered prison in Ohio. The weathered prison built in 1886 was the perfect backdrop for this movie.

The cache is hidden in one of my favorite parks, The Chagrin River Park. It can be a very busy park so use stealth when necceasry. There can be walkers, runners, bikers, dogs with thier owners on the trails. There are 2 pavilions, 2 play areas, restrroms and of course the river to play or fish in. The area surrounding the cache can get very swampy after a rainfall or snow melt.The park is open 6:00AM to 11:00PM. Please obey all park rules. The cache was hidden with permission from the Lake Metro Parks.
