You see them out there, day in and day out, in every type of weather. Loyal sons, forever true, keeping watch over the city of Ames and representing the Iowa State University Cyclones. What do you suppose they see? What could they be thinking? Well, I asked one of them one day and this is what he said:
“This place could use a geocache.”
“I agree”, I replied, “but where would it go?” “I’m looking right at it”, said Cy.
And that’s how this cache came to be.
This cache is one of a series, each one placed on the suggestion of the Cy figure you see at the coordinate location. The statue is ‘looking’ at the cache and it’s your job to determine where it is, based on where Cy is facing (for the sake of this exercise, we’ll assume that Cy is looking in the direction of where his beak is pointing). In some places, it should be obvious where the cache is hiding, but if you need it, the hint will narrow your search. Be sure to say ‘hi’ to Cy while you’re there.
