Geocache Description:

An easy park and grab with some Saranac Lake history attached. This is the site where the Ice Palace sits now, it all began in 1898 when people came together to break through the cabin fever from the long winter that Saranac Lake endures. Winter Carnival is a two week celebration in February which centers around the Ice Palace and a parade.

This is a high muggle area especially during Winter Carnival and on nice days in the summer, as the boat launch uses the same parking lot. So please use stealth!
