This geocache is located at the Flatwoods Branch of the Greenup County Library System. The original Ironton-Russell Bridge (The Blue Monster) was built in 1922 and connected Ironton, Ohio and Russell, Kentucky. It was owned by the Kentucky State Highway Department and was built in a cantilevered design, Once the historic bridge was demolished a peice of it was moved to outside of the library. The site has parking availble 24/7. The cache contains a log only so bring a pen.
