I will be eating my evening meal here and if you wish to join me and Wendy we would be happy to make you welcome.

As always there will be a logbook to sign, should you wish and a FTF will be chosen using the usual method.

Sunrise today was at 06:10,  Sunset will be 19:40 so it will stil be light when you leave.

The spring equinox occurs in March. In 2020 it will occur on 20 March at 03.49am GMT.

At two points in the year the Sun will illuminate the Northern and Southern Hemispheres equally. These are known as the equinoxes: the  autumn equinox and vernal or spring equinox. It’s the moment at which the plane of Earth's equator passes through the centre of the Sun's disk, or the moment that the Sun passes the celestial equator. On these dates, there are approximately equal hours of daylight and darkness.
