Another cache along the Eisenhower Expressway. The Eisenhower aka the Ike, was being built when I moved to the area in 1955. It has been a work in process ever since.
This cache site overlooks a facility where my father spent his last 6 months with us. Although he has been gone for over 20 years, I still miss him and often ask his guidance. Maybe more now that I am coming of age, so to speak.
You can park in the lot North of the cache. Stealth and care is required. The area has a lot of traffic. Cache is a black bison. Please replace the straw, since it helps to keep the log in good shape. If you wave while you are there, you may brighten someones life a little.
Watch out for burrs!
