Cultuur en Natuur in Loppem is een wandeling van een kleine 5 km met 12 trad’s. Fietsen zijn in het grootste deel van het kasteelpark verboden, dus die laat je best ook achter op de parkeerplaats. Bij nat weer kan het park vrij modderig zijn, dus zorg je best voor aangepast schoeisel.
Aan de rand van het park, nabij de Steenbrugsestraat, ligt een van de weinige ‘echte’ doolhoven van België. De doolhof werd in 1873 door de jonge Albert en Ernest van Caloen ontworpen en is meer dan 20 are groot. Tientallen gangen, met in totaal 1,5 km groene en rode haagbeuk, leiden naar een centrale boom.

At the edge of the park, near the Steenbrugsestraat, is one of the few “real” mazes of Belgium. The maze was designed in 1873 by the young Albert and Ernest of Caloen and is more than 20 acres big. Dozens of corridors, with a total of length of 1.5 km of green and red hornbeam, lead towards a central tree.
