Glen Eden Caravan Park was one of the first parks developed in the East London area. It was really a great caravan park and many families returned year after year to spend their annual holiday here. We also spent many holidays here before geocaching was born.
Unfortunately, a number of years back the younger generation of owners decided that it should be developed as a luxury housing complex, closed the park and demolished all the building structures. The complex was never developed and today all that is left is a broken down wall and a half demolished building with a sign advertising the luxury housing development. It is so sad to see a once great caravan park standing in ruins.
