Why is a Gloucestershire based Geocacher holding a Celebration event in Plymouth?
Well the answer is simple - ow2003 and I had always planned for a Celebration event to be a milestone cache for us both but the world had other ideas during 2020 and we didn't get out much and events were cancelled too, which left our original plans on the back burner, now with ow2003 heading to Plymouth to start a new chapter in life at University we have decided to mark this occasion with a Celebration event, and get to meet some of the people who's caches we will probably be finding during 'The University Years'
So come and join us at the Belvedere Wedding Cake for an informal meet and greet event with a Halloween theme share with us some of the great local caches that we should try to get and some of the non caching secrets such as best places to eat places to avoid that kind of thing, but also to Celebrate Geocaching.
As its close to Halloween we thought we might have a Halloween theme so if you wanted to come in costume or painted face you can.
Geocaching has done done what it says on the tin over the 5000 caches we have found together from walking on the mud flats of the Bristol Channel for Flotsam & Jetsam Extreme cache to being Signal for the day at the UK Mega, we have traveled around the UK to new places and abroad to Iceland, France and USA.
Heres a few of our memories
