Join us for a community celebration commemorating 20 (21+) years of geocaching on Halloween (Sunday, October 31st) at the Irvine Spectrum Center from 11 am to 1 pm. Now that things are getting back to normal, I felt it was time to host my community celebration event on Halloween! Masks are recomended, but not requried by the city.
I know most people might not be available in the evening for parties and other commitments, so I felt we could celebrate the day in the early afternoon. This event will be hosted in the (outdoor) foodcourt adjacent to Dave and Busters between Chiptole and Panda Express. Lots of places to park and eat, and plenty of outdoor space to be socially distanced. Best part is that geodogs are allowed!
Feel free to come dressed up in your best halloween costumes. If we have enough interest, there will be a contest for "best costume" that all attendees can vote on. Prize(s) to be determined! Details to come soon. Also, be on the lookout for newly published geocaches around the time of the event.
Note: If you are feeling sick, it is asked that you wait to attend in person events. Anyone who has Covid-19 symptoms, who has been in recent contact with a positive case, or might think they have been, is asked to not attend the event for the safety of themselves and others. Don't worry! There will be many more events in the future!
