The Tennessee Valley Geocachers would like to invite you to a Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays / Community Celebration Event on December 17th 2021 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Due to Covid concerns we are taking every precaution we can to ensure a fun, happy BUT safe event for all. This is an indoor venue but is large enough to where we can spread out and only have a few per table if that's what you'd like. There will also be plenty of hand sanitizer as well.
I will make an announcement later as to whether this will be a potluck, catered, or a bring your food type event. Suggestions are more than welcome as to which option you prefer!
There will be games for the kids (and big kids).
We will also be playing our locally famous Dirty Harry Chinese Santa Gift Exchange. If you've never played this it's usually the highlight of the event. Let's keep the gifts around the $15-$20 range but if you want to spend more we're not going to stop you! We say this every year but remember......participation in the gift exchange is not required to attend the event BUT will make it funner (yes, funner is a word in East TN!)

As of right now there is no mask mandate for Roane County as well as no group limit. That being said we will comply with any future mandates concerning Covid19 and will keep this page up to date on any changes made in response to Covid19. If you want to wear a mask by all means please wear one. We will have plenty of hand sanitizer and plenty of tables to maintain social distancing. Again, please look for any announcements that may be made for this event concerning Covid19.
