I've been ok'd to announce that both Rebel04 and Doctor A will be moving out of the area. Come on out to give them a friendly send off. Come out to meet other geocachers in our community and if you wish, help out the Southern Nevada community. This is afterall, a "Community Celebration Event".
We met and have these details to share:
1) Rebel04 is bringing donuts. Bring your own beverage of your choice.
2) Bring your trackables to discover.
3) Bring your "signature swag" to trade. At least two of us will have ours on hand.
4) There will be geocaching related giveaways approximately every 15 minutes, provided so far by Kris32 and mineral54 and Rebel04. Get a numbered ticket when you arrive. If you are not there when we call a number, we will move on to another number.
5) Voluntary geocaching gift exchange. $20 limit on geocaching items. Only those bringing a gift, can pick a gift. We will draw #s for pick order. I forget if we decided if people will be able to steal the gift and/or how many times the gift can be stolen. Rebel04 will be the announcer. I wanted no part of that duty! :) This will happen during the 2nd hour.

Apparently I had until 12/31/2022 to hold this, but thought I might as well get it done. I'm not convinced 2022 will be any different...
If they allowed me enough space, I might have named this: "Community Celebration Event--stay 6ft apart edition!" or "Community Celebration Event--but stay away from me!"
SAT 12/18 10a-12p. You do not have to get there at 10am. You do not have to stay the whole time. Friendly dogs are welcome.
I'm not much of a party planner. Nor people person for that matter, lol. The details are not set yet, but I wanted people to save the date.
I had an idea, but it wasn't allowed. I will post that idea on the local FB group to see if anyone might be interested anyway.
I would like to provide some food of some sort, but kind of a loss there too, so maybe I will post that on the FB group too.
At the very least, meet, greet, and get the community celebration icon for your profile.
