I moved to Durham last Summer and thanks to Covid I have not had a chance to meet any local cachers yet, so what better way to do that than to organise a local event.
I will be sat outside the Cathedral to meet with you all but if the weather is miserable you have the option of entering the Cathedral where the cafe and shop should be open. (You can check opening times on the Cathedral website closer to the date when they will be published)
The event finishes early enough to give you the chance to pick up any local smilies you may need to complete your map.
Durham Cathedral is the home of the Shrine of St Cuthbert that include relics like St Oswald's Head and Venerable Bedes Remains along with St Cuthbert who was transported to Durham by the Lindisfarne Monks in the 800's. A stunning Cathedral steeped in history is well worth a visit.
