ICE CREAM SOCIAL AND ARTISTS IN THE PARK
Ice cream and cake, and root beer floats will be served in the shelter with John Sheehan playing his concertina. Artists will be painting in different areas throughout the park for you to observe and ask questions. There will be several special activities for kids to express their artistic talent. At 2:30 guests will be invited to crank the handle to make homemade ice cream. Corn will be ground by the original 1858 turbine and water power. The museum and gift shop will be open. There is no charge for the activities or treats, but donations are appreciated so that the Friends group can continue to keep history alive!
Come and enjoy this community celebration and share some stories with fellow geocachers.Feel free to share a picture of the ice cream social or an artist along with your log. We should be in the general area during most of the activities. Come and enjoy! Look for our white Jeep.
