The A2O cycle trail traverses over 300 km from Mount Cook village down the Waitaki Valley to Oamaru on the coast.
Progressively sections of the trail have been moved off roads on a dedicated cycle / walking track.
This section of trail between Kurow village and the Waitaki dam was recently officially opened.
This series of caches are along this section and best reached by bicycle, although can also be easily walked.
