Geocache Description:

FIELD PUZZLE!

This cache is a part of the "Things You Find in the Desert" series: caches of various shapes, sizes, difficulties, and terrains. The names may be helpful or misleading, you decide!

Please place all elements back where found.

Three species of camels, including two domesticated species and one wild species, live in the world today. The Bactrian camel is wooly and long-haired, living in Central Asia. The Wild Bactrian camel is different from its cousin in that it boasts two humps instead of one. Last but not least, the Dromedary camel, also known as the Arabian camel - or the mascot of your well-known American cigarette brand - only has one hump and short hair. Eighty precent of these camels live in Africa. However, fossils found in the Canadian Arctic testify to the camel's cold-weather origins. Fun fact: In 1857, three dozen camels were imported from Egypt and Turkey to create the U.S. Army Camel Corps and used to explore Arizona along what is known today as Interstate 40. If you want to see a camel up close, the Phoenix zoo offers camel rides for $6. Or, you could just find this cache ;-). Don't worry - it's clean.

*The difficulty rating was upped from a 4 to a 4.5 due to success rate stats. Good luck!

Always be 'ware of the typical things you find in the desert. Things that stab you, things that bite you, the thing that burns and dehydrates you. I recommend you always bring water with you when following the "Things You Find in the Desert" trail. Be careful where you step and what you touch. Tools of the trade are always handy as well. And, last but not least - Cache In, Trash Out! Protect the things that are supposed to be in the desert and keep this a wonderful place to cache.
