Let us spare a thought at this time for a much neglected citizen -the local postman.
Recently, my brother, a university student, took a vacation job as a postman, and the
thoughtlessness of house holders has astonished him. '
Many mailboxes are inconveniently placedand often the opening is not large
enough to take Christmas cards a foot square.
Our "posties" are welcome people and we should treat them as such.
