Emporia, Kansas, is called "Disc Golf Disneyland" by players who come from around the world to play the five 18-hole and three 9-hole golf courses----and Olpe Lake Disc Golf is one of them !!
Emporia is home to the Glass Blown Open, the largest disc golf tournament in the world !! 1,700 disc golfers from 47 states and 10 countries flock to Emporia (and Olpe !!) for a week filled with fun, play and competition !
The Event was founded in 2003 by Emporians Eric McCabe and Gabe Werly. The trophies are made of blown glass !!
