Mt Abeokaasama is 682 ft elevation mountain, located the southern part of City of Mooka.
Busshoji Temple is near the entrance of the trail. Priest Shoudou who developped Nikko was born here. Also two huge Keyaki tree (Zelkova serrata) is both sides of the temple entrance and they are registered as prefecture natural monument.
Around the temple is a route which has 88 stone plates. It simulate the pilgrimage of Shikoku 88 temples.
From the middle of the route you can go up furthere and get to the summit of the Mt. Abeokaasama.
On the return you will go through Shakujogamine and will take about 90 minutes plus cache searching plus resting time. The trail is well maintained but several branches bit confusing so watch your GPS carefully.

阿部岡浅間山は真岡市南部にある標高２０８ｍの里山です。
登山口近くには、日光を開山した勝道上人が生まれたとされる仏生寺があります。またこの寺の山門の両脇にある大きな欅は県指定天然記念物となっています。
この寺を囲んで新四国八十八カ所巡りと称した８８の石碑が裏山の中腹を一周しています。その周遊路の途中からさらに登って行くと阿部岡浅間山に登ることができます。
帰りを錫杖ヶ峰を経由しておよそ９０分＋キャッシュ捜索時間＋休憩時間で回れます。コースはよく整備されておりますが、若干分岐が多いのでＧＰＳをよく見て進んでください。
