Geocache Description:

The Hendrix Creek Preserve (http://bit.ly/3aAGClN) is a nature preserve near the campus of Hendrix College with great walking trails and many natural beauties. So even though you are seeking a geocache, take time to see and enjoy the sights and sounds of your surroundings as you hunt.

Clark~Griswold once had some fine caches in this preserve, and this one is not far from where one of them used to be.

You will be looking for a bison tube with special camo in a wooded area not far off the trail, so real bushwhacking shouldn't be required. Because of proximity to the trail, however, use stealth when necessary. You could encounter holes, roots, water, briars and rocks on the journey to the cache, so be careful of them. And this being Arkansas, there is always the risk of snakes, spiders, ticks and other undesirable creatures and plants at certain times of the year.

Though this preserve abuts Interstate 40 on its east side, don't even think of approaching from there even though it may appear to be close on the map. There is no access, and the danger is great. There is ample parking close to the trailheads on the west side. Note also that the trail is open from dawn to dusk, so no night hunting.

Coordinates really bounce here at times, but the hint should put you near enough to GZ.

Put the container back as you found it, and let me know if there are any problems with the cache. And should you encounter any trash, take time to practice CITO.
