Miyahara Station is relatively new in the Takasaki line and is established in 1948 on the used place of Kamonomiya signal station opened in 1908. There is a bust of founder Akizo Kawanabe of Nihon Kotsu at the east exit of the station. He was born at Miyahara-village Kitaadachi-gun (existing Kita-ku, Saitama-city) and tried hard to open the station. He was a great man and his family is very gorgeous. It’s too great and gorgeous to say it here.
宮原駅は、明治41年に開設された加茂宮信号場の跡地に昭和23年開業された高崎線の中では比較的新しい駅です。
駅の反対側の東口には、地元北足立郡宮原村（現さいたま市北区）出身で宮原駅開設に尽力した、日本交通の創業者川鍋秋蔵の胸像があります。
川鍋秋蔵 Ｗｈｏ？と、今回、キャッシュの設置を機会に川鍋秋蔵の来歴を調べてみると、これが凄い！ またその一族の華麗さも凄い！
とてもここでその凄さを語ることはできないので、ホントに凄い！とだけ言っておきます。
