Geocache Description:

Funny story...

When I was placing the first round of letterbox caches (they have been placed in 3 rounds so far) I had lost a stamp. I looked high and low and could NOT find it at all! The first set of stamps was a set of 40... so the first release ended up being 39 letterbox geocaches. I had been carrying the cute little stamps around in the box they had come in, and that box had the plastic hanger to hand it on a peg in the store, and that popped out of the back of the box and left a hole. Now originally this would have been fine, but becasue I had cut them all down short so that they would fit into a preform... they had a tendency to fall out of the box. Now this is where it gets weird... because i specifically remember this stamp not being anywhere... and thinking it was hilarious that of ALL the stamps I had lost... it was the MONEY one. Geocaching is free right? We dont need money... LMAO! Yea right...

But apparently it wasnt lost... as I had placed it right here... and ruylopez, being the experienced and thorough cacher that he is, continued on down the line and found it and signed in... Well at the 2020 Pi day event, he finally remembered and mentioned it to me... I was confused... I couldnt believe that I had an extra one... I knew he wouldnt lie to me, but I couldnt for the life of me think of what stamp could have been in it as I had lost the one, and replaced every other one with the upgrade of the stamps in the lid... so I knew they were 'all accounted for'.

As the world shuts down around us with covid-19 and the toilet paper appocolypse, I practiced a little social distancing and took a drive out here to check it out... low and behold... it is the original original 40th

There is no need to rush out for a first to find on this one, since ruylopez beat us all here many moons in advance!

Congratulations and the FTF, and a BIG THANK YOU ruylopez!

Stay safe, and please... listen to your momma.... wash your hands.

geocaches are preforms mounted to hydro/ telephone poles about 1-3 feet off the ground.

They may be winter findable, but dependent on wind direction and the amount of snow we have, there may be a drift.

There is a ditch to traverse and there may or may not be water in it.

All non-virtual geocaches must contain a logbook. If it must contain a logbook for you to sign, then you must sign said logbook. If your name is not in the logbook then you have not truly found the geocache. Bring something to mark in the logbook if you you would like to count the find.
