Rooster's Revenge Traditional Geocache

The entrance to Quarry Head State Park is on Ridgefield Road directly across from mail box number 765.  The entrance has a tall white fence on either side and looks as if it is a driveway.  Just turn in and follow the small road down the hill and you will see the trail map and parking.  You can see the old chimney left from the house that was once on this property and on a clear day you will be able to see Long Island Sound in the distance.  You don't need to bushwack at all until you are within 60 or 70 feet of the cache.  Think of this cache as having a leap of faith. Depending on which trail you take to approach the cache you may see a stone cairn that someone (not me) built.  To reassure you, farther on I also built a second cairn (really just a pile of small rocks--not very balanced or pretty) as a hint to where you have to go to get the cache. This second cairn/pile of rocks may help point the way; it''s a leap of faith.  Cache is a small green tupperware container (I am practicing social isolation so that is all I had).  It has index cards in lieu of a log book.  Feel free to take and post a photo of the container if you do not want to sign the log.  Cache starts out with a variety of loot including--match container, paracord bracelet (small), new deck of cards, a "cache in garbage out" patch.
